Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque on Tuesday said his confinement at Philippine General Hospital (PGH) due to COVID-19 was ordered by his doctors amid criticisms for getting hospitals beds despite reported scarcity of it.
Roque assured the public that the basis of his admission was because he was in bad shape.
“I can assure you po gaya ng lahat ng ibang ospital, ang basis for admission po kinakailangan moderate at severe cases. Sa aking kaso po, I was in bad shape when I was admitted pero iyon nga po ‘no, by Sunday I was better because of remdesivir. So iyon lang po iyon,” Roque said.
