Food and Drug Administration (FDA) director general Eric Domingo on Sunday said he is hoping for the cooperation of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) on the probe on the the use of unregistered COVID-19 vaccine last year.
“Ako ay umaasa na talagang may makukuha tayong impormasyon,” he said.
“I have to be frank, as of now, talagang wala pa kong nakukuhang kahit anong impormasyon,” Domingo said in an interview over radio DZBB.
“Sa ngayon, wala talagang sumasagot sa amin. Kahit ang Secretary of Health sumusulat sa kanila,” he added.
Last December, PSG Commander Brig. Gen. Jesus Durante III confirmed that some personnel were vaccinated against COVID-19 between September to October 2020. During that time, the FDA has yet to issue emergency use authorization to any vaccine manufacturer.
